Please join us in welcoming Marisol Lindstrom to the ProList management team!
Marisol recently joined the ProList team as Human Resources Manager. In this role, she will play a key part in building positive employee experiences and creating an engaged workforce. ProList has continued to grow and expand in its range of services and, correspondingly, in its workforce. Encouraging employee engagement, nurturing a positive workplace, recruiting and hiring have become extremely important and it was the desire of the Leadership Team to add management support to enhance these areas.
In previous positions, Marisol worked with large international organizations in the telecommunications, technology and hospitality industries, as well as smaller ones where she’s provided Human Resources consulting and support. Most importantly, Marisol has always brought innovative approaches to the table for people and processes, ranging from implementing a unique employee check-in approach to conducting ongoing employee performance management and even beyond to rolling out a values-based recognition work environment. Marisol is multi-lingual and has more than 25 years of human resources experience.
Marisol earned her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development and her MBA from Rollins College in Winter Park (Orlando), Florida. Over the span of her career, Marisol has held HR positions at Vectronix, JLG and Pioneer. Most recently, she served as Manager of Human Resources for Akvarr, Inc. While at Walt Disney World, Marisol was the Diversity and Inclusion Manager.
When she’s not at work, as a Pastor’s wife she supports her husband and church family. Her passion and hobby is horseback riding and she enjoys spending time with her daughter at the barn. On any given day you’ll see Marisol heading out the door to get her “barn time” in!
Although the world of direct marketing and direct mail is new to her, Marisol is excited by the challenge and has found that she loves the industry. Her passion for helping people is an important factor. ProList made the decision to create a separate Human Resources Manager position (previously Human Resources was handled by our Admin and Finance teams) to address the ongoing needs of the company as it continues to grow and hire new employees. The focus on adding new capabilities in digital color variable printing and creating an expanded variety of marketing products based on a “white paper” model – printing on white paper and readily available manufactured envelopes for maximum flexibility and personalization, has driven demand to increase our hiring for new positions and new shifts.
In addition, more hiring needs are on the horizon with the expansion of ProList’s fulfillment department. The company recently leased an additional 20,000 square feet of warehouse space to support it’s 3PL, print on demand and rewards-program based fulfillment services. Marisol’s role will be to find the staffing to continue to support our move into expanding those services.
Marisol’s multi-lingual experience is invaluable as our employee base expands. It is a strong asset in creating meaningful employee-employer relationships and conveying company goals and brand values in the context of the direct marketing environment in which ProList serves.
You can get to know Marisol a little better, and in her own words, by watching the short video included below.
