Originally founded in 1989, the Postal Service was just beginning to recognize the importance of automation in mail processing, and ProList was among the first companies in the nation to provide a practical means of printing barcodes on postal pieces to allow its customers to obtain discounts. Our mission today is much the same as it was then; To help our customers reach their target audiences in the most cost-effective ways possible, and through a variety of integrated direct marketing channels.

Pete McEvoy

President/Chief Executive Officer

Pete joined ProList in early 2021 after many international accomplishments in business strategy, performance improvement, human resources, administration, and facility management among other areas. Pete has worked in several countries and in multiple business sectors including scientific research, telecom, food, energy and the non-profit sector. His initial ProList role was Chief Human Resource Officer, encompassing talent acquisition and recruiting, workforce management, employee relations, benefits, DE&I and safety. He assumed the CEO role on February 1, 2022. When announcing Pete’s appointment, ProList founder and owner, Dave Lokos said, “Pete’s spearheaded many transformative initiatives with great outcomes, and even though he’s only been here a relatively short time he truly cares about the success of the company and its people as much as I do. I chose Pete because he brings broad outside experience and perspective that few in our industry sector can match.” Pete holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from Brunel University in London, UK and is a Senior Certified Professional of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). He and his wife, Heleny, have two adult children, Pauline and Tom. Originally from Yorkshire in Northern England, Pete enjoys adventure sports, Spotify, reading, BBQ’s, Chilean Carménère, travel and watching Leeds United in the English Premier League.

Abe Diallo

Chief Financial Officer

Abe Diallo is originally from Senegal (West Africa). He attended the University of Maryland, College Park where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Science. After he graduated from Robert H. Smith School of Business, he joined the ProList team in 2001 starting as a staff accountant, and working his way up to Controller in 2006, and CFO today. In that role, Abe is responsible for ProList’s financial management. When he is not at work, he likes spending time with his family, watching movies or reading books in French to reconnect with his background.

Randy Rettig

Randy joined the ProList team in 2020, and currently oversees our Project Management team. Randy has over 25 years of management experience, spanning several industries including direct mail, aviation, textiles, and auto parts. Originally from Oklahoma, Randy’s childhood love of aircraft would have him working in aviation before he graduated High School. After 16 years in the aviation industry and working all across the United States and several countries in and around Europe, Randy moved on to become the Operations Manager at a tile distributor, and later the Distribution Center Manager for one of the largest tire distributors in the country. In his spare time, Randy enjoys leatherwork, working outside, studying computer science, and spending time with his family.

Randy Hunton

Randy Hunton joined ProList in 2023 and brings over 25 years of consultative, value-based sales approach applied across diverse regional and national markets. He’s driven to help customers succeed in the non-profit, political, retail, financial, education, and health care industries. Randy’s previous work experience includes USA Direct, RRD, Vertis and Quad Graphics. His in-depth knowledge of complex, cost-sensitive, high-volume quality direct marketing programs has led the development of many innovative, highly personalized, creative concepts for conventional, digital, inline and multi-channel programs. This strategy has increased response, reduced costs, including postal and logistics savings. Randy is married with 4 children and lives in Bel Air, MD. He enjoys the outdoors, including fishing and hiking, as well as spending time with his family.

Jack Spaulding

Chief Information & Technology Officer

Jack oversees all our information systems here at ProList and has over 20 years of professional experience in technology and operations. As such, Jack is well versed in delivering solutions and services for a variety of business operations and strategic initiatives. After earning his Computer Science degree from the University of Kentucky, Jack went on to spend time in the legal, IT managed services and managed security services, and healthcare payment integrity industries. Prior to joining our team Jack was VP, Data Mining at Optum. As Director of Information Systems here at ProList, he is responsible for the vision, strategy, and implementation of technology and information systems across our organization.
When he’s not working, Jack enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, trying new foods, and baking.

Alan Darling

Vice President of Operations

Alan joined the team in 2023 and is responsible for ProList’s critical scheduling, production, and logistical activities. He has over 30 years’ experience in print and publishing, with the last five years focused on Direct Marketing and workflow management. During his career Alan has been a member of Apple Computer’s Customer Advisory Board, chaired DDAP for six years (Digital Distribution of Advertising for Publications; an international digital file delivery best practices organization) and was a member of an ISO (International Standards Organization) authoring committee that developed the PDF/X series of digital file transfer standards. His Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from King’s College, London, UK forms a solid foundation for operations work dealing with processes and workflows and facilitating peak performance in terms of quality and productivity. He brings with him a technical background that is tempered with customer-centricity, and an open management style. He loves FaceTiming with his two adult children: his son in Chicago and his daughter in London. He has varied interests that range from binging TV shows, to cooking, traveling, and fishing. Alan, who is originally from England, and his wife of 32 years, who hails from Long Grove, IL, relocated to the Frederick, MD area in 2023.

As an original founder, Dave has been with ProList for more than 30 years. Dave has a background in database management and systems design, having been the principal architect of a number of the award-winning systems at ProList—most notably, Trackmymail.com which is now a Pitney Bowes product. In recent years Dave has provided the vision and leadership for ProList resulting in an average of more than 15% annual growth over the last several years. Dave is husband to Betsy and father to their six children.
