ProList was founded in 1989 as a
data processing company in support of the mailing industry.
Data processing is still our heart and soul! Unlike many others,
we work largely with our own software. We
have managed to stay ahead of larger companies
by responding to postal
changes and maintaining
a state-of-the-art processing environment.
From the simplest presort to the most complex merge/purge and data
manipulation, ProList is an industry leader
in data processing. We operate on a state-of-the-art
Windows NT network, connected directly to the
backbone of the Internet via a T-1 line. We
process data for some of the most demanding
clients in direct mail.
Naturally, the software we use is CASS and PAVE certified, but
we enhance the process with our own custom
programs that preprocess your data to allow
for maximum ZIP+4 attachment and merge/purge
success.
Another ProList strength is our ability to work with data in almost
any condition. Other data services often turn
to us to convert their most challenging data.

Your data entry has to be accurate and immediate!
ProList has provided data entry services for
a myriad of clients, providing us with a wealth
of experience working with data of all kinds.
Data entry services we provide include:
- Ongoing, daily or routine projects
- One-time hard copy to electronic media conversion
- Key verification when necessary
- Front-end programming to expedite all data entry projects
- Coded entry
- Upper or Mixed-case entry
- Sophisticated exception hanlding (missing values, erroneous data,
etc.)
- Output records in a variety of standard formats including fixed-field
ASCII (ANSII), DBF, delimited, and many more
- Output mediums include FTP, Email, CD-ROM, floppy disk, etc.
- In addition, ProList can seamlessly streamline backend fulfillment
with the data entry. The fulfillment may email, literature, or product.
Through our years of experience we have identified the main reasons
for failure to attach ZIP+4. Before we attach ZIP+4 to a list, we
pre-process that list to optimize attachment. The result -- a higher
ZIP+4 percentage, more accurate addresses, and postage savings.

It is amazing how much proper presorting can reduce postage expense.
At ProList we will take every available step
to minimize postage. All of our presorting
software is PAVE certified to capture every
available discount.
Merge/Purge is often more art than science. We use our own proprietary
merge/purge program that allows us to custom
tailor each merge/purge to the specific requirements
of each client. New phonetic matching
allows us to find duplicates that could never
have been found before. We can also cross
check different fields to search for duplicates.
We can tighten or loosen duplicate identification
parameters to meet your particular needs. Of
course we will offer expert guidance
on what approach will work best for you.
We work with a number of licensed vendors and can prepare your
data for NCOA processing, as well as incorporating
the results into your data.

Sometimes data is just not in the format we want, and enhancements
need to be made. At ProList we have advanced
software for assigning gender to records from
a HUGE first name table, changing the case
of text from all upper to mixed case with minimal
distortions, appending information such as
congressional district, phone numbers, and
more. Let us know what your special requirements
are - we can probably accommodate them!

Labels aren't dead yet - we print millions of them a year! We can
provide Chesire labels (with or without barcodes),
piggyback labels in 1" and 1.5" formats, sheet-fed
pressure sensitive labels and more.

Laser printed renewals have proven to be an effective marketing
opportunity for many associations. The ability
to send a personalized message while delivering
a renewal request adds a the professional
touch sought by many associations. Labels still
haven't gone away - we print millions a year!

(with or without barcodes), Piggyback labels
(so your prospects can peel and return the
label), sheet fed pressure-sensitive labels
and more. Of course, our automated label output
meets the tough quality standards required
by the Postal Service.
Some projects - particularly continuous multi-part forms - require
impact printing, so that images appear on all
copies. We print thousands of these forms daily
- with or without barcodes!
